Proposed Changes to Ashburnham Zoning Map, Watershead Protection District, Change to Zoning Bylaw section 3.1 General Requirements & 3.1.1 Basic Requirements, and Discontinued Maintenance of Roads.

There will be a public hearing to present an updated Zoning Map to remove the “W” district as voted in the May 2022 Town Meeting. Changes include adding the watershed protection districts of Fitchburg and Gardener. Changes to the official discontinued maintenance information for Tuckerman and Ferrin Rd.  Adding Discontinued maintenance for Old Country Rd beyond ½ mile of Center Street, and to the west half of Byfield Rd to reflect existing conditions. Changes to the Zoning Bylaws Section 3.1 and 3.1.1 to clarify that the planning board does site plan review for Marijuana related special permits.

A copy of the Map, Bylaw language, and road details will be available for review on MyTown https://www.mytowngovernment.org/01430 under the Planning Board April 4th Meeting.
