Pursuant to Governor Baker’s July 16, 2022 signing of an Act relative to extending certain COVID-19 measures adopted during the State of Emergency including the extension of his March 12, 2020 Order suspending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, § 20 until March 31, 2023 this meeting of the Chatham Historical Commission is being conducted both in-person and via remote participation and shall afford adequate, alternative means of public access via Microsoft Teams by calling the phone number: 508-945-4410 Conference ID 286 770 932# or by joining the meeting online via Microsoft Teams through the link in the posted agenda.

•William and Anne Nickerson homesite – national register eligibility process, Nickerson family assoc./conservation foundation sites – revision of scope of work and cost estimates, received and review in process. (Can be initiated after completion of Archeological Survey,)
•Archaeological survey of Chatham Cemeteries, update Form E’s – Revision of scope of work and cost estimates in process with vendor.
•Update to 2015 Chatham Survey Plan - Revision of scope of work and cost estimates, received, contracting efforts in process with Preservation Consultant.
•Monomoy Theatre Property - 776 Main St, Concepts/Restoration for Washington /Taylor House & Theatre, Final design, “on hold”. Pending Legal Action.

•Status of Current Demolition Delays – 127 Stage Harbor Road expired 2/4/2023, awaiting resubmission to ZBA.
•Correspondence: None.
Issues on hold
•Review of Chapter 158 bylaw, re: current 75-year threshold for acceptance.
•Development of Preservation Plan.
•Administrative Review Process, expansion in future on the determination of Historical Significance.
•Preliminary review for possible update of Marconi-RCA National Register District in relation to the Archeological Reconnaissance Survey from March 2009, to be updated.
