Information for Meeting of Conservation Commission

The Conservation Commission will hold a public meeting under the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act, M.G.L. Chapter 131, Section 40. The meeting will be held at Town Hall, 30 Martin Street in the 2nd Floor Stage Conference Room.

This meeting of the Conservation Commission will be held in-person at the location provided in this notice. Members of the public are welcome to attend this in-person meeting. Remote access to the meeting will be available. Details for remote access are on the Commission's webpage at https://www.essexma.org/conservation-commission. Please note that while an option for remote attendance and participation is being provided as a courtesy to the public, the meeting and/or hearing(s) will not be suspended or terminated if technological problems interrupt the virtual broadcast, unless otherwise required by law. Members of the public with particular interest in any specific item on this agenda should make plans for in-person vs. virtual attendance accordingly.

7:30 PM Public hearing for a Notice of Intent for 10 Rocky Hill Road filed by Nicholas Ellis to construct a connected garage, with driveway paving and a stormwater swale and retention/treatment area

7:45 PM The following hearings will be opened concurrently due to work being done in conjunction with US Army Corp of Engineers dredging during the 2024/2025 season:
•	Public hearing for a Notice of Intent for 80 Main Street filed by Pike Marine for maintenance dredging of the Essex River via mechanical dredging
•	Public hearing for a Notice of Intent for 82 Main Street filed by Perkins Marine for maintenance dredging of the Essex River via mechanical dredging
•	Public hearing for a Notice of Intent for 35 Dodge Street filed by Essex Marina for maintenance dredging of the Essex River via mechanical dredging 

Administrative:
•Review Requests for Certificate(s) of Compliance (if any)
•Agent/Administrative Clerk Report on Citizen Inquiries
•Discussion regarding Conservation Agent authorization to approve proposed work
•Review draft letter in response to appeal of 021-0752 ORAD for 73 Eastern Ave
•Review and approve Minutes for January 30, 2024
