Discuss and vote to recommend that in person early voting be allowed during established early voting hours for the Special Town Election to be held on Tuesday November 8, 2022.

Local Elections
For local elections, cities and towns may choose to have in-person early voting. To opt-in to 
early voting for local elections, at least two registrars need to recommend it, and the board of 
selectmen, town council, or city council must then vote to authorize in-person early voting. 
The vote to opt-in to early voting must take place no later than 5 days before early voting 
would begin, and must include the early voting schedule. Early voting can begin no earlier than 
the 17th day before the election or preliminary and can end no later than 2 business days before 
the election. Early voting for local elections default to your usual business hours, unless the 
vote specifies otherwise.
Sites for early voting for local elections will be designated by the clerk. The location(s) and early 
voting schedule must be posted no less than 48 weekday hours before early voting begins.
