Protect Jewell Hill! Town Meeting Vote & Information Session
On December 9th, Ashburnham’s Special	Town Meeting will give residents	the vote on whether to accept a	
state grant to permanently protect the	Jewell Hill Farm and this view at the	peak of Jewell Hill, the pinnacle	of an unprotected 300-acre property	
in Ashburnham, Ashby and Fitchburg.

A Town Warrant Article and vote	is	required at the	December 9th,	
Ashburnham Special Town	Meeting	to	authorize the Select Board to accept	a state	grant award for the purchase	of a conservation restriction on the	84 acres at Jewell Hill	that is	in	Ashburnham.

This grant is part of a collaboration	between The Trustees, Town of Ashburnham, and	the City of Fitchburg	to permanently protect 300 acres at	Jewell Hill Farm for public enjoyment.
