• New Public Hearing:
5:10PM/Map 3 Lot 91a public hearing under the requirements of G.L. Ch.131 § 40, as amended, and the West Tisbury Wetlands Protection Bylaw and regulations to consider a Notice of Intent filed by the Parks & Recreation Commission on behalf of the Town of West Tisbury, holder of an easement on land owned by Goethals Lambert’s Cove LP, for a project to install two hundred and fifty Feet (250’) of removable walkway to be placed up and over the Coastal Dune on the path to Lambert’s Cove Beach. The distance of 250’ +/- will cover both slopes of the dune, but not the middle plateau. The boardwalk will be 5’ wide (able for 2 people to pass side by side and for wheelchair access). Boards will be 1” thick Teak or Ipe wood (very dense durable wood) with (1”) spacing between boards. Connections will be stainless steel connectors, provided by boardwalk supplier. The location of the project is 275 Lambert’s Cove Road.

5:35PM/ Map 39 Lot 7/SE79-354: a public hearing under the requirements of G.L. Ch.131 § 40, as amended, and the West Tisbury Wetlands Protection Bylaw and regulations to consider a Notice of Intent filed by Sourati Engineering Group, LLC on behalf of Middle Point Shaq, LLC owner of property located at 208 Middle Point Road. The applicant seeks permission to remove a failing gabion/rock revetment and replace it with 305+/- linear feet of new rock revetment, 56+/- linear feet of hybrid gabion basket-fiber roll shore protection, 140 +/- linear feet of fiber roll shore protection, 46.8 +/- cubic yards of annual sand nourishment and native plantings on the top of a coastal bank on Tisbury Great Pond.
6:15 PM/Map 39 Lot 13/SE 79-356 : public hearing under the requirements of G.L. Ch.131 § 40, as amended, and the West Tisbury Wetlands Protection Bylaw and regulations to consider a Notice of Intent filed by Vineyard Land Surveying & Engineering, Inc. for a project to remove an existing single-family dwelling and septic system, and construct a new 5,054 square foot single-family dwelling, a 3,431 square foot deck, garage, pool and landscaping, and perform associated site work on property located at 245 Thumb Point Road owned by Anton C. Pil. The project is located within the Buffer Zone to a Coastal Bank and Land Subject to Coastal Storm Flowage and within an area of Estimated Habitat.
