EXECUTIVE SESSION: M.G.L. C30A, S21(a), Reason # 2 – To conduct strategy sessions in preparation for negotiations with non-union personnel or to conduct collective bargaining sessions or contract negotiations with non-union personnel.

EXECUTIVE SESSION: M.G.L. C30A, S21(a), Reason # 6 – To consider the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real estate, if the chair declares that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the public body (Mattawa Point Properties)

Board & Committee Vacancies: Finance Committee – 2 openings; Conservation Commission – 3 openings; ZBA – 2 openings: 1 member and 1 Alternate Member; Master Plan Committee – 4 openings, Disability Commission – 3 openings, Rent Control Board – 1 opening, Capital Improvement Planning Committee - 1 member and 1 alternate member
B. Selectmen’s Office Hours: (One hour prior to scheduled regular meetings) – May 16, 2018 – Jim Cornwell
C. Congressman James P. McGovern’s Local Office Hours – Every 3rd Friday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at North Quabbin Community Coalition, 251 Exchange Street, Athol 
D. Community Breakfasts – Every Wednesday (Except 3rd Wednesday) from 7:30 to 10:00 at the Armory
E. Soup and Social at the senior center every Tuesday and Thursday for seniors 55 and over and their caretakers.  $3.00 per lunch 
F. 2018 Programs for Kids and Families at the Orange Public Libraries 
• Morning Storytime – Baby and Me (Mondays 10:30 to 11:30 and Rise and Romp (Tuesdays 10:30 to 11:15 at Wheeler Memorial Library 
• Lego Club for Kids in Grades K – 6 – Wednesdays from 3:30 – 4:30 at Wheeler Memorial Library 
G.  Shirley Page Community Pride Award Nominations – Due in Selectmen’s Office no later than June 1, 2018.  Forms are available in the Town Administrator’s Office or on the Town Administrator’s page of the Town of Orange website at www.townoforange.org
	H.  3rd Thursday Summer Street Fairs – May 17, June 21, July 19, and August 16 from 6 – 8 p.m. Downtown
I. 15th Annual Food-A-Thon & Boot Drive – Tuesday, May 15, 2018 from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
