1. Review July 12, 2019 Minutes of the Meeting
2. Discuss the Monthly Financial Ledger data
3. Surplus flags needed on hand
4. Discuss Veteran Flags on Cemetery Lots also the possibility of Scouts assisting in placing the flags at the grave sites.
5. Schedule a meeting to revise the Cemetery Rules and Regulations including the Columbarium.
6. Discuss Stephen Hart’s conversation after visiting Cape Coastal Nursery regarding the cost of six large trees for behind the Columbarium. Also discuss the meeting and quote of the hardscaping with John Fougere.
7. Discuss the revised Perpetual Care process during a “Buy Back”, along with reimbursement of original versus the current rate/per Dan Tobin and Town Council.
8. Discuss the Friends of Trees proposal for Union Cemetery Expansion plantings.
9. Discuss the idea of engraving Memorial wings versus sticker emblems (see attached)
10. Motion to approve one wand metal detector (cost approx. $749.99), one probe, which won’t bend when using, two 200 ft. tape measures, (that crank), which will live in the Cemetery Office when not in use.
11. Discuss having the expansion area headstones installed one foot away from the beginning of each lot for easier access.
12. Adding “Who marked the lot” to the interment form
13. Due to the headstone direction changes we have two headstones that are facing the wrong direction. Motion of approve spending $600.00 to change them in order to maintain uniformity to be discussed.
