Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, this meeting will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. Specific information and the general guidelines for remote participation by members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to attend this meeting can be found on the town’s website, at www.essexma.org. For this meeting, no in-person attendance of members of the public will be permitted, however, members of the public who wish to listen to and/or view the meeting may do so via Video Call or phone to call in, for audio-only).

Depending on your device and software installed, you may be able to join directly, by web browser, or, you may have to download the application directly (you will be shown that choice when you go to the above link). •	Approve the minutes for the Selectmen’s March 22, 2021, Open Meeting.
•	Vote to sign the State contract to receive a Firefighter Safety Equipment Grant in the amount of $9,657.00.
•	Ratify the Chairman’s signature of the Green Communities Grant application in the amount of $132,000 for additional upgrades to building automation systems in the Essex Elementary School.
•	Consider a request from Sergeant Thomas Shamshak, Jr. to carryover two weeks of vacation time to be used in July 2021.
•	Consider a request from Annie Cameron to remain on the Strategic Planning Committee as a member-at-large instead of as a School Committee representative.
•	Vote to appoint Peter Seminara and Rebecca Visnick to the position of Shellfish Deputy Constable for a partial three-year term, ending 6/30/2023. Sign the appointment cards.
•	Vote to appoint Bill Levy to the Conservation Commission for a partial 3-year term, ending 6/30/2022.
•	Review an application for a Change of Manager from Eamon Keating to Declan McClung for the Essex Wine Exchange.
•	Review applications for alcohol service associated with proposed outdoor dining under the Governor’s temporary order allowing for such service:
o	Blue Marlin Grille, 65 Eastern Avenue

•	Consider the purchase of artwork for the new public safety building.

•	Woodman’s Inc., Stephen Woodman, for use on Saturday, July 24, 2021, between the hours of 5:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., within the confines of the Tidewater Tent at 125 Main Street; two closed sides of tent; entertainment by DJ with the speakers inside the tent pointed towards the Function Hall.
