Shellfish Advisory Committee
Agenda for the Shellfish Advisory Committee meeting to be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 in the small meeting room at the Chatham Community Center at 6:00 PM:
1. Review and approve minutes.
2. Forum. If anyone from the shellfishing community wishes to make any constructive comments or express concerns with the shellfishing industry, habitat, or shellfishing in general, or request a future agenda item, they may do so now. Two minute time limit.
3. Pleasant Bay Resource Management Plan 2013 update. Carole Ridley will discuss the update, and is asking for a letter of support from the committee prior to Town Meeting.
4. Capri Lane Association, LLC dock discussion. The association would like to construct a dock in Oyster Pond situated at the end of Capri Lane. The committee will discuss the impact of the dock and determine whether the dock would be detrimental to existing and future shellfish, shellfish habitat, and access to shellfish.
The ZBA and Conservation Commission request a letter of recommendation from the committee.
5. Any other issues that committee members may want to discuss briefly may do so here; however, no vote may be taken on these issues at this time. Any issues to be voted on must be published in a future meeting agenda and posted for public assay prior to that SAC meeting.
6. Set next meeting date.
7. Adjourn.
