Shellfish Advisory Committee
AMENDED AGENDA
Here is the meeting agenda for Thursday, June 21, 2012, to be held at 4:30 in the large meeting room at the Chatham Community Center:
1. Review and accept the minutes of the April and May SAC meetings.
2. Bill Clark, from Aquaculture Research Corporation will discuss the future of propagation at ARC.
3. Roger Ling has been hooking up the upwellers for free. A thank you letter to Roger for his contribution would be appropriate.
4. Propagation open house. A date will be determined to invite the Selectmen to an open house at the upweller site for presentation and discussion of the propagation program and the importance of its continuation to Chatham’s shellfishing community. Final review of letter to the Selectmen to include invitation on determined date.
5. Ted Keon will discuss the proposed finger pier at the Old Mill Landing (Harbormaster’s office). Renee had sent out plans on May 16, so please review before the meeting.
6. Discussion of the Waterways Advisory Committee regulation revisions as presented at their meeting on June 15, 2012. Here is a copy of the regulations in question: http://www.chatham-ma.gov/Public_Documents/ChathamMA_Coastal/TownLndngRegs%20_Rev%206-12-12-web%20vers.pdf
7. Any other issues that committee members may want to discuss may do so here, however, no vote may be taken on these issues at this time. Any issues to be voted on must be published in a future meeting agenda and posted for public assay prior to that SAC meeting.
