1. School Roofs
We have had to make periodic repairs, especially to the Elementary School roof, since the hurricane came through in August. It is apparent that both buildings will need periodic repairs, and quite possibly replacement within five years. Superintendent Cragin, and Business Manager, Christine Suckow, have been informed.
2. DESE Educator Evaluation
We will send a team of up to eight staff members to a presentation at Dennis- Yarmouth High School on the new Educator Evaluation system next week.
VI. NEW BUSINESS
1. Monomoy Services Request
Due to a water line break in the basement at the old Water Department Building, any tours for staff from Monomoy Community Services have been delayed. They are still interested in taking a tour of the facility to see if it will meet their needs. The tour will occur sometime in the next couple of weeks.
2. Young Women’s Club Field Trip to New York
Mrs. Forte-Doyle will address the Committee and ask for approval for the Young Women’s Club at the High School to go on a field trip to New York City to attend the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations on March 2, 2012.
Recommendation – Approve Young Women’s Club overnight field trip to New York City for the Commission on the Status of Women at the United Nations on
March 2, 2012.
3. Monomoy Superintendent Search
Mr. Eric Whiteley has asked that the Committee address the Monomoy Regional School Committee’s decision regarding a Superintendent search.
