Charge: To evaluate potential future solid waste and recycling disposal options for the Town of Chatham in an effort to increase recycling and address anticipated increased solid waste disposal costs, and to present these options to the Board of Selectmen with the Task Force's recommendations.


1. Call meeting to order.

2. Discuss - edit if necessary - minutes from April 12 meeting.

3. Approve minutes from April 12 meeting.

4. Action items from previous meeting:
    *Any comments, questions regarding data sheets handed out at previous meeting?
    *Response from Mike Maguire re: 
      -Luther's request for breakdown of Cape towns vs. the three models (PAYT; curbside pick-up; no change)
      -Ted's request for details on PAYT systems in    other towns i.e. bag costs, distribution, etc.
(if no response yet from Mike, perhaps contact new Municipal Assistance Coordinator David Quinn in few weeks (He begins April 23.)
     *S.W.A.T. page on Town Website
     *Paulette's question on Transfer Station use demographics 
     *Potential public questionnaire/survey: Method/questions.   
      
5. Discuss existing list of options for Chatham's future solid waste/recycling program. 

6. Discuss next meeting's agenda.

7. Announce next meeting's day/time/location. (May 10, 5 pm, Small Conference Room, Town Annex)

8. Adjourn.
