Shutesbury Community Preservation Committee Notice of Virtual Public Hearing Thursday March 4, 2021 6:30pm As per the Community Preservation Act, the Shutesbury Community Preservation Committee will hold a public hearing on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 6:30 PM. Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law and the Governor’s March 15, 2020 Order imposing strict limitation on the number of people that may gather in one place, this meeting will be conducted via remote participation. Instructions on how to connect via Zoom and the connection invitation will be available on the Town website www.shutesbury.org/calendars at least 48 hours in advance of the meeting. This meeting may be rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances. This annual information hearing will allow public input into the needs, directions, possibilities and resources of the Town regarding community preservation efforts. Two projects requesting FY2022 Community Preservation funds will be reviewed and discussed: (1) Open Space/Recreation funds to assess and update hiking trails in the Town Beach Conservation Area and the South Brook Conservation Area and (2) Open Space/Recreation funds for construction of a community garden behind Shutesbury Town Hall.
