Pursuant to Governor Baker’s June 16, 2021 signing of an Act relative to extending certain COVID-19 measures adopted during the State of Emergency including the extension of his March 12, 2020 Order suspending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, § 20 until July 15, 2022, this meeting of the Chatham Historical Commission is being conducted both in person and via remote participation.

• Update, Preservation Awards FY22 – Three nominations three chosen for awards – Final Preparation for May 15 Event in process - Michele Clarke/Frank Messina.
• Update, Archaeological survey of Chatham Cemeteries Form E’s – Steve Burlingame.
• Update, CHC 2009 Town Wide Archaeological Survey/Report/Form D’s - Funding Required.
• Update, Nickerson Family Association Site – National Register Listing Process, Nickerson Family Assoc./Conservation Foundation/Atwood CHS sites - Funding Required.
• Update, South Chatham National Register District Nomination. MHC request for formal meeting on application in late May, State Review Board, June. – Eric Dray/Frank Messina.
• Monomoy Theatre Property - 776 Main St, Status of NRD application with MHC, (on hold by owner 10/25/2021). Theatre preliminary design in process.
• Former, Stage Island, US Coast Guard Boat House– CPA Funding for return to Chatham, approved, Design for utilization as upweller in process/60% complete. Repairs to close for winter storage, completed, by owner.

• Administrative Review Process, expansion in future on the determination of Historical Significance.
• Demolition by Neglect/Property Maintenance Bylaws Review – Stephanie Hamilton/Aly Sabatino.
