Chatham Housing Authority
Tuesday, January 17, 2023

The regular meeting of the Chatham Housing Authority was held this date at 240 Crowell Road, Chatham, Massachusetts. The meeting was called to order at 11:42 a.m. Members physically present, Alan Mowry, Shirley Smith, and Karolyn McClelland. Priscilla Ford was absent. Also present was Tracy Cannon, Executive Director.    

Shirley began with a motion to approve the December 2022 minutes which was seconded by Karolyn and approved by all present.  

Alan then made a motion to approve the Financial Statements for the Quarter Ending December 31, 2022.  It was seconded by Shirley and after a brief discussion it was approved unanimously.

Shirley then made a motion to approve the Warrant #426 which was seconded by Alan.  Alan then asked if I could clarify a couple of numbers for Pat Ford who was unable to attend the meeting.  They were as follows (answers in italics):

•	What is the rate for mileage reimbursement currently?   .62₵ per mile
•	What was the “Mark’s Home Services” for $200.00?     Mark’s Home Services is our HVAC      Repair Service. The service call was for the Group Home at Martha Kendrick.
•	$171 for wreaths? How many and for where?    8 Wreaths. One for each of the 5 buildings in the Anchorage, 1 for the Congregate and 2 for the Community Building
•	2 Charges for Ready Rooter?	  Clogged drains.
•	Capescapes for $3980.00?	Semi-Annual Clean-up plus gutter cleaning 
•	Cookies Painting at MCI?   Unit turnover painting of the entire inside of three bedroom house

All then voted to approve the Warrant.

There was then discussion regarding a couple of items on the Executive Director’s monthly report.  Regarding the vacancies at the Congregate, Tracy agreed that she would get an ad in the Chronicle as soon as possible. Tracy also spoke with Karolyn regarding adding information regarding vacancies to the agendas for the upcoming meetings that the Chatham Community Housing Partnership plans to have with various civic groups in town. Tracy also agreed to send another e-mail to the BOS regarding the Board vacancy. 

Under New Business, Shirley Smith made a motion to approve the ARPA Formula Funding Contract for Financial Assistance in the amount of $104,739.00.  The motion was seconded by Karolyn McClelland and approved by all.



At 12:44 p.m. Karolyn made a motion to adjourn the meeting, which was seconded by Shirley and voted for by all.
