Pursuant to Governor Baker’s July 16, 2022 signing of an Act relative to extending certain COVID-19 measures adopted during the State of Emergency including the extension of his March 12, 2020 Order suspending certain provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, § 20 until March 31, 2023 this meeting of the Chatham Historical Commission is being conducted both in-person and via remote participation and shall afford adequate, alternative means of public access via Microsoft Teams by calling the phone number: 508-945-4410 Conference ID 325 805 403# or by joining the meeting online via Microsoft Teams through the link in the posted agenda.

New Business:

•Preliminary review for possible update of Marconi-RCA National Register District in relation to the Archeological Reconnaissance Survey from March 2009, to be updated. Also updated information not detailed or included in the original NRD nomination, related to the role the Marconi – RCA site and antenna field, Rhombic etc. played during WWII with the US Navy.

•The process for mandatory or discretionary referral for “Development of Regional Impact” (DRI), review to the Cape Cod Commission, (CCC), in accordance with the CCC document October 2019, “Referring Historic Properties to the Cape Cod Commission for Review” 

•Sarah Korjeff correspondence– Withdrawal of a Referral

•Neighbors of 127 Stage Harbor Road Correspondence

•Archaeological survey of Chatham Cemeteries Form E’s – Revision of scope of work pending. 
•Update, CHC 2009 Town Wide Archaeological Survey/Report/Form D’s – Revision of scope of work pending.
