Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020 Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law, G.L. c. 30A, §18, and the Governor’s March 23, 2020 Order imposing strict limitations on the number of people that may gather in one place, this meeting of the Traffic Safety Committee is being conducted via remote participation. Every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings as provided for in the Order. There will be a meeting of the Chatham Traffic Safety Committee at 4pm on Thursday December 17th, 2020. This meeting will be held as a virtual meeting hosted on Microsoft Teams facilitated by the Town of Chatham IT department.

Review and approval of minutes from previous meeting.
Discussion of new requests:
Request from Paul Errico for a crosswalk on Main St in the area of Cockle Cove Rd.
Request from Anne Morris for reducing the speed limit on Stony Hill Rd from Orleans Rd north to Old Mail Rd. and for roadside improvements.
Request for stop sign installation on Fox Hill Rd at Strong Island Rd intersection and for speed reduction measures on Fox Hill Rd.
Previous requests:
Kent Place – further discussion of request for speed reduction and receiving input from the Fire & Rescue Dept. and the DPW.
Street Light policy: Discussion of requested edits from the Board of Selectmen.
Traffic pattern at Community Building - Discussion of resubmission of previous approved recommendation to change the traffic pattern in the Community Building parking lot. |
