PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
TOWN OF BERLIN
The Board of Selectmen will hold a public hearing on Monday, January 13, 2020, at 7:15 p.m., at the Berlin Town Office Building, Room 206, 23 Linden Street, Berlin, Massachusetts, to act on the petition of Massachusetts Electric Company d/b/a National Grid and Verizon New England Inc. (formerly known as New England Telephone and Telegraph Company) to erect and maintain poles and wires to be placed thereon, together with such sustaining and protecting fixtures as said Companies may find necessary, in the public way or ways hereinafter referred to, as requested in petition of said Companies dated the 13th day of November, 2019 and as indicated on the plan marked “Randall West Road – Berlin – Massachusetts” No. 24890181.  
The work is described as follows: Randall West Road – National Grid to relocated 1 JO Pole on Randall West Road beginning at a point approximately 1100 feet southwest of the centerline of the intersection of Lancaster Road and continuing approximately 30 feet in an east direction.  Relocate Pole 8 from private property at customer’s request (no existing easement for pole at 344 Randall West Road).
The plan is on line on the Selectmen’s webpage at www.townofberlin.com, is available on the bulletin board outside the Town Clerk’s Office, is posted on the Town’s Facebook page, and is available for viewing in the Selectmen’s Office.
