NOTICE OF JOINT PUBLIC HEARING
Community Development Block Grant-COVID-19 Grant Application
The Town of Athol, acting as the lead community on behalf of Phillipston, Templeton and Winchendon,
will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, June 2nd at 7:15 pm.
For this meeting, members of the public who wish to watch the meeting may do so in the following manner:

The public may offer comments during the hearing via email to: selectmen@townofathol.org
The purpose of this hearing will be to receive comment on an application to MA CDBG program for funds
to support COVID Recovery activities in the participating towns. These include Microenterprise
Assistance for eligible small businesses and Social Service Programs to address food insecurity and
homeless assistance in any of the participating towns.
Any person or organization participating will be given the opportunity to comment at the hearing. The Town
of Athol will make every attempt to provide interpretive and translation services, if necessary, with advance
request. Comments may be submitted in writing or by e-mail to planning@townofathol.org and must be
received by 12:00 noon, June 3, 2020.
