Call meeting to order at 6:30 p.m.

18 Common Street Committee; Donald Faugno, Lois O’Leary  
Sadly, Trustee Barbara Steadman passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 17, 2019.
Congratulations Traci for being a write in on the ballot and being elected as Trustee.
Beth Coughlin will attend our meeting at 7:00 p.m. to discuss with us the financial situation the town is currently in and the town to address another year or half a year lease towards the purchase. 
Documents available for review;
The Lease Agreement FY2019, and Donald has drafted a collections and furniture, square footage usage of 18 Common Street for the CIPC, Trustees and commission.
Matt is working on the list of projects necessary according to the Home Inspection and prioritizing projects over a four year period.
FY2020 Budget meeting with the CIPC, Tuesday, April 9 at 11:00 a.m. at 18 Common Street, this meeting was very successful, Donald Faugno was very persuasive and eloquent explain the needs and reasoning behind the purchase of the 18 Common Street.
18 Common Street:  Current key holders are Matt Bansfield (Trustee), Margaret Aubin (Custodian), Carol Plumb (Trustee, Historical Commission & Community Club), Library staff, Brenda Metterville (Library Director), Donald Faugno (Historical Commission), Rosie Kadelski (Friends of the Library and Cultural Council), Karen Reynolds (Chair, Friends of the Library).
Organizations currently using 18 Common Street for meetings:  Banister Book Group, Brookfield Historical Commission, Friends of the Library, Brookfield Community Club, Brookfield Cultural Council, Girl Scouts.
Review Minutes from April 8, 2019.  Motion by, 2nd, all in favor of edits approved.
Ratify Library payroll FY19 warrants dated, April 18 and May 2, 2019. 
Ratify Library Expense FY19 warrants, April 3, 11 and 24, 2019.
Ratify Library Utilities (Nat. Grid gas), April 11, 2019. NOTE: bill was 509.30, balance in acct. 361.43, Brenda sent email to Kerri Town Accountant regarding this issue.  This issue was not resolved before the accountant resigned.
Ratify Library State Aid for 18 Common Street, April 11. 2019.
Ratify Library Book FY19 warrants dated, April 13 and 24, and May 2, 2019.
Motion by, 2nd, all voted in favor.
The Trustees will meet with the Board of Selectmen, Tuesday, May 14 at 6:30 p.m. to confirm Shelby Hill as an appointed Trustee serving until the election of 2020. We need four Trustees (quorum).

Worcester Telegram and Gazette saga continues with complaint filed with the BBB.  T&G explained $398.11 from Karen Trainor’s account went into the library account, discovered in November of 2018 and transferred from our account to her account, the move took 208 days off our subscription.  We have decided to pay for 13 weeks for 201. Instead of a full year.  The T&G has taken the preiums off our account and Brenda signed up for e-billing.
Other business:  
Wed. May 8 MEMO from the BOS regarding Accounting Firm of Eric Kinsherf (recommended by the Pioneer Valley Planning Commission) to replace interim accountant.
Donations in memory of Barbara L. Steadman is $275.
Next meeting will be Monday, June 10 at 6:30 p.m.
