Information for Meeting of Open Space and Recreation Plan Committee

1. 7:00 PM -- Open meeting
2. 7:10 PM -- Present a brief and concise slideshow summarizing the completed Draft Open Space and Recreation Plan(OSRP), and obtain feedback from residents on key plan proposals
NOTE: the Draft Plan and Appendices are available on the town Website
   o Introduce OSRP committee members
   o Explain why an OSRP is needed and benefits it can provide the town
   o Summarize planning process briefly
   o Go over main sections of plan and key findings
   o Look at completed maps
   o Discuss Shirley's needs for recreation fields and facilities
   o Discuss open space needs and issues
   o Go over proposed Action Plan 
   o Identify any issues participants feel need to be addressed but have not been addressed during the discussion thus far
3. Identify final steps needed to complete the plan for approval by Special Town Meeting in the fall
4. Committee business 
   o Approve minutes of prior meeting
   o Determine responsibility for final pulling together of document
5. Adjourn
