- Overview of the Open Space and Recreation committee organization, roles, etc.
- Overview of our current focus – the Update to our 2008 OSR Plan (old plan can be seen at: http://www.athol-ma.gov/planning-and-development/pages/athols-open-space-plan-2008
- Kicking the Plan Update into high gear – some ideas how we can get the plan done in a timely manner so we can learn what the town’s citizens want and so we can apply for state grants to make those things happen.
- Review of the citizen’s survey *(required for the plan update) which is almost done and has been broadly accepted by the Conservation Commission.
- Planning how to get the most responses to the survey from citizens.
- Pick dates for next several meetings
- Pick individual tasks/projects for next meeting. |
