Cable Advisory Board – meeting summary
December 9, 2013 – 7:30PM – Room 221 Town Office Building

Attendees:
Board Members – Kevin Diggins, Anna Bradley, Erica Palmer
Others – Bob Fatta, Rich Mariana, Bill Anderson

Agenda Items:
•	Meet with Selectmen
•	Discuss candidates for open Board positions
•	Identify next steps in re-chartering process
•	Plan next meeting

Notes:
  - Selectmen and Board discuss re-chartering process and general interests/concerns from citizens
-	Agree to have Board come back to the Selectmen quarterly to provide updates
 - Board votes 3-0 to accept Bob Fatta and Rich Mariana as new members
                - Results of vote will be passed along to Selectmen for their approval
    - Next meeting scheduled for Tuesday Jan 14th at 7:30PM

Action Items:
1.	Send requests to Selectmen (Kevin)
a.	Approval of new Board members Bob Fatta and Rich Mariana
b.	Letter of Authorization from Selectmen which Board can use in approaching cable service providers
c.	Any available data which the Selectmen might have on # households, cable penetration rates, etc.
2.	Provide draft of citizen survey to be reviewed at next meeting (Anna)
3.	Arrange next meeting for Jan 14th @ 7:30PM (Kevin)
4.	Send out current Charter contract and renewal process document to Board members (Kevin)
5.	Set up distribution list so all Board members receive email sent to cableadvisory@townofberlin.com (Anna)
