NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING


Notice is hereby given that the Department of Conservation and Recreation will hold a public hearing on an Application for Variance under the Watershed Protection Act and Regulations, MGL c. 92A 1/2 and 313 CMR 11.00.
Queen Lake Association, owner(s), and Timothy Haley, applicant, have requested a Variance Decision for a project located for Queen Lake, in Phillipston, Massachusetts to apply herbicides, algaecides, benthic barriers, and hand/suction harvesting for aquatic weed control.  The hearing is intended to address the issue of whether this Variance may be issued without impairing the quality of the water in the Ware River Watershed.  In order to comply with the current Commonwealth COVID-19 State of Emergency limiting public gatherings, the hearing will be held remotely on Monday, May 11, 2020 at 10:00 AM.
