The list of affected trees subject to the January 25, 2017 Tree Warden Public Hearing is as follows: BARNES HILL ROAD Across from Pole #1 - Pine RIVER ROAD WEST Pole #46 canopy @ Gillis -2 leaders SAWYER HILL ROAD Before Pole #24 and between Pole #25 & #25.5 – 2 trees LOWER SAWYER HILL ROAD Before Pole #12 PEACH HILL ROAD House #23 SOUTH STREET 1st bridge – 3 on the left RANDALL ROAD Between Pole #22 & #23 and Across from House #317 – maple LOWER DUDLEY ROAD At Town Line – oak LINCOLN ROAD At the Legion – maple ACTS OF 1908, CHAPTER 296 Section 3. Public Shade Trees shall not be cut or removed, in whole or in part, except by the Tree Warden or his deputy, or by a person holding a license so to do from the Tree Warden, nor shall they be removed by the Tree Warden or his deputy or other person without a public hearing at a suitable time and place, after notice posted thereof in two or more public places in the town and upon the tree, and after authority granted by the Tree Warden thereof. Whoever violates the provisions of this section shall forfeit not less than five nor more than one hundred dollars to the use of the town. -end- |
