Berlin Agricultural Commission August 12, 2020 (Rain Date for posted August 11th Meeting) Berlin Community Garden 25 River Road West, Berlin, MA 01503 6:30 PM NOTICE Meeting attendees must wear facial mask Meeting attendees must practice social distancing (minimum of six feet) Recommend attendees bring a lawn chair and bug spray AGENDA • Acceptance of March, 2020 Minutes • Treasurer’s Report • Review incoming correspondence • Agricultural Commission e-mails • Old Business: o John Root Cultural Council Grant May 2 at 2 PM at 19 Carter (Cancelled due to COVID-19) • New Business: o Authorized the Town Administrator to pay the Community Garden’s electric bill from the Ag Com’s FY’21 Account o Trinity Irrigation Co. invoice dated 5/12/20 o DCR has authorized the Ag Com to use the remaining $4,822.41 from the Community Garden Well & Pump Account for additional betterments at the Garden o Establish a plan for needed maintenance of the Community Garden shed o Purchase of raised beds and loam o Purchase seasonal garden fencing o Convert security camera from DC to AC power o Surplus equipment, i.e.: water storage tanks and solar pump system
