Information for Meeting of Cemetery Commission

1.	Review April 12, 2019 Minutes of the Meeting
2.	Discuss the Monthly Financial Ledger Data and all work exceeding $2,500.00 must have a purchase order approved prior to the work order.
3.	Discuss the Maintenance Contract and additional Clean- Up Costs.
4.	Discuss the Cost of the Lighting for the Union Cemetery Flag Pole
5.	Acknowledgement letter from the Town and a small plaque on the Flag Pole located at the Union Cemetery Expansion, for Mr. Riddle’s donation.  
6.	A surplus of flags on hand for the Union Cemetery Flag Pole, due to weather damage and who will be maintaining the flags in all four cemeteries.
7.	Discuss replacement flags for our Veterans.  It seems the flags and memorial grave markers must be of better quality to withstand weather conditions.  Mr. George Goodspeed, Chairman, will contact Wilfred Remillard, at the Veterans Services in Harwich @ 508-430-7510, regarding damaged flags and military markers.
8.	Discuss the Planting Regulations for both the Union & Seaside Expansions and Columbarium grounds.
9.	Discuss the Expansion lots at Union Cemetery that are “Not for Sale”.
10.	Clarify the burial rights of the heirs to the deceased deed owners and what documentation of proof is needed for cemetery records.
11.	Establish the person in charge of engraving Columbarium doors/niche. Should we change from Modified versus Condensed font for uniformity and should the letter cutter be responsible for the amount of characters per line.  If changes are decided are updates in the Rules and Regulations, as an administrative decision necessary.
12.	Establish which direction the headstones will face, in both Seaside and Union Cemetery Expansions.
13.	Discuss abutter issues
