For this meeting, members of the public who wish to attend this meeting/hearing virtually may attend via the Zoom Webinar platform in one of two ways: (1) with both audio & video access, or (2) by telephone/audio only.  Zoom Meetings provide remote meeting capability for meeting participants (as permitted by the Open Meeting Law and Remote Meeting Participation provisions adopted by the Select Board for the Town of Berlin) and audience members alike.  Meeting attendance can be achieved in one of two ways (log-in directions are within this meeting posting):

Video conference (recommended) – requires an Internet-enabled device with a camera and microphone (laptop, tablet, smartphone, or PC - there needs to be a camera and microphone to be seen, heard and hear discussion); or

Telephone only – By making a telephone call to a Zoom Meeting access telephone number and entering the meeting ID#.  You will be unable to see other meeting participants or any documents presented during the meeting.

EXECUTIVE SESSION – The Board will enter executive session pursuant to Massachusetts General Law Chapter 30A, Section 21 (a)

Reason #7 - To comply with, or act under the authority of, any general or special law or federal grant-in-aid requirements (vote Executive Session Minutes)

Reason #3 - To discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining or litigation if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body and the chair so declares (discuss strategy with respect to collective bargaining - Police Union Local 264 MCOP; Firefighters Union Local 5288 IAFF)

VIRTUAL MEETING ONLY as permitted by Chapter 20 of Acts of 2021 enacted 6/16/2021 for public  meetings with note that continued Earthworks public hearing of 5/10/2021 was:
(1) initially NOTICED to the public in the ___ Newspaper on ______ and mailed to abutters [Return Receipt Requested] as a virtual-only Public Hearing due to the COVID-19 gathering restrictions in place at that time per Commonwealth of Massachusetts and in compliance with Massachusetts Open Meeting Law, 
(2) opened that date and continued to a date-and-time “certain” [specifically, said Public Hearing was continued by the Board to Monday, June 21, 2021 at 7:30PM], 
(3) NOTICED to the public via posting of the Board meeting on the Town’s official website for meetings of public bodies: with more than 48-hours advance notice, 
(4) the same Zoom virtual meeting log-in information is being employed for the 6/21/2021 meeting as was used by the Board for the earlier 5/10/2021 meeting/hearing and as restated below; 
(5) approved SB meeting minutes from 5/10/2021 are likewise on MyTownGovernment under the “Select Board”; and
