Information for Meeting of Town Meeting

The Board of Selectmen have called for a Special Town Meeting to be held on Monday, September 24.

For information about topics that will be considered at the meeting, please contact the Board of Selectmen's office at selectmen@shirley-ma.gov or 978-425-2600, x200. Once the warrant for the meeting is signed in late August, it will be posted on the town website and copies will be available at the town offices.

In the meantime, you may also check Shirley Public Access (channel 99 for Comcast cable subscribers) for rebroadcasts of Board of Selectmen's and Finance Committee's meetings. 

The deadline to register to vote will be Friday, September 14. The Town Clerk's office will be open that day from 9am to 8pm for voter registration. Voter registration forms can be completed at any Town or City Clerk’s office in Massachusetts. Mail-in forms are available on the town website www.shirley-ma.gov and the Hazen Memorial Library and should be mailed to Shirley Town Clerk’s Office, 7 Keady Way, Shirley, MA 01464. Anyone who would like to receive a registration form by mail can call the Town Clerk’s office at 978-428-2600, x205 to request one.
