Information for Meeting of Election Day
Tuesday June 25, 2013 7:00 AM EDT

Double Election - voters will receive two ballots.  Polls open 7am to 8pm. 
1.) Special State Election for Senator in Congress.
2.) Special Town Election - Proposition 2 1/2 capital exclusion question and two Proposition 2 1/2 override questions.

Candidates on the State Election Ballot are:
Gabriel E. Gomez (Republican)
Edward J. Markey (Democratic)
Richard A. Heos (Twelve Visions Party)

Absentee Ballots for the state election are available now. Absentee ballots for the town election will be available on or about June 4.

Last day to register to vote is June 5, 2013. Town Clerk's Office open that day from 7am to 8pm.

To apply for an absentee ballot or register to vote, please visit the town website www.shirley-ma.gov. On the home page under "Where Do I Go For?", click on voting and elections.
