  Meals on wheels: We received a donation of $500 from the Corkin, Kaplan & Rudolf families with a matching grant of $500 from the R.L.Corkin Charitable Foundation for use in the Berlin Meal Wagon Program(meals on wheels).
  
  Old Business:
  Work Off Program: George Pendergast and Dennis Bartlett have volunteered (no pay) to drive the bus and Bob Williams will drive on Thursdays and will be paid $9/hr.
  
  Berlin Rides: The trip to Salem Cross Inn went very well and one trip each has been made to shopping and doctor visits. 
  It appears the bus will need 6 snow tires. Volunteers are looking into prices.
  
  Berlin Meal Wagon: There are 10 families receiving meals. One family receives meals from Lancaster. There was a discussion as to why and who should be delivering them if Montachusett implemented the order. Karen will investigate and report next month.
  
  New Business: 
  Buffet Way has been hired for our Holiday Party, which will be held on Thursday, Dec. 10 at First Parish Church Hall.
  
  Jim Connor has handed in his resignation affective after this meeting. Jim has served as President of the COA for 9 years and we are very grateful for his service to the town. He will be missed. (But he may pop up now and then.)
  
  next meeting will be Nov. 18 at 7pm at the Town Office Building.
